604 Custom Cleaning Supervisor – Grade 5
Full time position responsible for supervising trainee work crews at Gateway facilities and offsite commercial and private locations, and instruct trainees in skills and behaviors necessary to achieve competitive or sheltered employment in the field of housekeeping.
Requirements: HSD or equivalent and one year experience in the field of commercial cleaning or one year experience in a training or supervisory position in the field of housekeeping. Ability and willingness to work various work shifts; Ability to work with heavy duty cleaning equipment including such items as: ladders, shampooers, buffers, etc. necessary. Able to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
Hours & Location: UC/Kingston – Mon-Fri 4 pm-12 am
602 Residential Manager – Grade 11
Full time position responsible for managing the day to day operations of the regional program, including the responsibility for staff supervision and the safe and therapeutic care of the residents, in accordance with Gateway’s goals and certifying regulations. Assure effective delivery of habilitative services. Function as a Qualified Mental Health/Retardation Professional (QMH/RP).
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field; 2 years experience preferred. Working experience must include at least one year supervisory experience. Valid NYS driver’s license and must maintain a driving record, which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.
Hours & Location: UC/New Paltz – Mon – Fri, 8 am-4 pm with flexibility
595 Vocational Coordinator – Grade 9
Full time position responsible for c oordinating the provision of vocational information and support to consumers/families and mental health clinicians for the purpose of facilitating consumer’s transition to vocational activities. Develop relationships with mental health practitioners throughout the county with the purpose of increasing the number of individuals referred to vocational services.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree plus two years experience in related field. Valid NYS driver’s license and must maintain a driving record, which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.
Location & Hours: UC/Kingston – Mon-Fri, 9 am-5 pm
594 Site Supervisor – Grade 8
Full time position responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the OMH/OPWDD resident programs including the responsibility for staff supervision and the safe and therapeutic care of the residents in accordance with Gateway’s goals, certifying bodies and individualized habilitation plans. Function as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Requirements: Associate degree in health services related field plus 3 years experience in human services preferred or HSD with 5 years related experience. Valid NYS driver’s license and must maintain a driving record, which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.
Location & Hours: UC/NP Tue/Thurs 11 am-7 pm & Wed/Sat 8 am-4 pm & Fri 7 am-3 pm
605/587 Van Driver – Grade 4
Full & Part time positions responsible for operating agency vans to transport trainees safely according to program needs and daily schedules.
Requirements: Valid NYS driver’s license, CDL and Article19 Certification required, to be obtained within 90 days from date of employment. Maintain a driving record which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.
Location & Hours: UC/Kingston - Split shift positions, Mon-Fri 6:00a-10:00a & 2:00p-6:00 pm OR Mon-Fri 6:30 am-9:30 am & 2:30 pm-5:00 pm.
584 Food Service Supervisor – Grade 5
Full time position responsible for preparing food and assist in the training and supervision of trainees in Gateway Community Industries, Inc. Food Service Program. Assemble and deliver meals for catering contracts as needed.
Requirements: HSD or technical school diploma plus one year experience in commercial food services. NYS driver’s license and must maintain a driving record which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.

Full time positions responsible to facilitate the growth and development of the skills necessary for independent living through training and assistance in the core services areas mandated by OMH/OPWDD and Medicaid, in accordance with the resident’s Treatment Plans and Gateway’s goals.
Requirements: HSD plus 1 year related experience required. Must attend staff meetings. Valid NYS driver’s license and must maintain a driving record which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.
